Dress for an evening outdoors, pack some bug spray, and bring a chair or blanket to stay comfy under the stars. You’re also welcome to bring your own telescope! For centuries, people have looked to the stars for inspiration, answers, and connection. Here on Penlake, we’re lucky to enjoy the night sky with minimal light pollution. We’re thrilled to have Tony Moffat, PLCA member and renowned astronomer, lead this special evening. Tony is an emeritus professor at the University of Montreal, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and the recipient of numerous awards for his contributions to astronomy. Don’t miss this chance for you and your family and friends to learn from Tony and experience the wonders of the night sky with your neighbours. For more info: amoffat402@gmail.com.
