Membership:

We currently offer two types of membership. These are termed a “Family Membership” and "Add-On Family Membership".

Family Membership: The family membership for a paid annual fee of $75.00 entitles one single family (1-2 adults and their children under the age of 30), a single individual, or one collective organization (e.g. a Club or Association) to a single vote at our annual general meeting as well as the enjoyment of our many association benefits.

Note: Each paid membership will receive one Wild Apricot account (log in with your email address) and will be responsible for paying the $75.00 membership annual fee. The paid member can add a "Bundled" member (usually a partner or spouse) and that bundled member would receive one Wild Apricot account (log in with their email address). 

Add-On Family Membership: The optional Add-ON family membership for a paid annual fee of $20.00 allows an additional adult family unit (such as adult children 30 and over and their spouses/partners sharing the same household or cottage) to be included under a primary Family Membership, but without voting rights. This membership requires that at least one individual per household already has paid the $75.00 full Family Membership.

Membership with the Peninsula Lake Community Association (PLCA) and the Peninsula Lake Association (PLA) has fabulous family benefits, in addition to developing a strong Association that can protect your lakeside property investment and the health of the lake.   If you are not a member yet, please join now on our website at www.penlake.ca for only $75.00.  Membership entitles you to a group discount for propane, free entry to Regatta; Canada Day Celebrations; book club and a discounted rate for the Regatta Dance; PLCA Golf event; Ladies Luncheons and other social activities throughout the year.  If you drive a boat, how would you manage without the navigational buoys that are purchased, installed and maintained on a yearly basis by the PLCA? The lake buoys can help prevent unnecessary boating accidents, keeping you off the rocks with your family and friends safe.  The PLCA/PLA is about community, developing friendships for the whole family, and instilling a sense of gratitude for all the Muskoka has to offer.  See the PLCA Events Schedule for 2024 and enjoy all these advantages when you join the PLCA.
