Peninsula Lake Association (PLA)

The Peninsula Lake Association’s (PLA) shared primary mandate is ‘To preserve, protect, restore and improve the natural resources, water quality and environment of the Peninsula Lake watershed.’

It is also focused on sharing environmental information with members, including conducting educational seminars, conferences and public forums about the flora, fauna, hydrology and geology of the region.

The PLA owns the Lamon McCann Meadow and is also responsible for the management of the Penlake Farms Nature Reserve (PFNR) on behalf of the Muskoka Conservancy.

The PLA is a registered charity under the Canadian Revenue Agency and is the "sister organization" of the Peninsula Lake Community Association.

Joining the PLCA means you will automatically become a member of its sister organization, the Peninsula Lake Association (PLA).

Donations to the Penlake Association:

The Peninsula Lake Association is a Charitable Not For Profit Organization and a key source of revenue for the PLA comes from member donations. All donations over $20 will receive a charitable donation tax receipt which will be issued at years end for inclusion with your charitable deduction for income tax purposes.  The PLA wishes to express our sincere appreciation for your generous donation and support.

STEP 2: If you wish to receive a tax receipt for your donation, please send us an email using subject line "Donation Tax Receipt" and send email to PenLakeAssociation@gmail.com.
